MMMMM Event - Margaritas, Mojitos, Manicures, Massages, & Mystical Readings
Dallas, Texas, November 3, 2010 –
On November 2, 2010, Senior Living Advisors threw the “MMMMM Event” at Addison Conference Center in Addison TX, introducing Geriatric Care Specialists to Resources available in the DFW market.
DFW area Seniors and their families will realize that they need to consider a Senior Living option in the near future. Signs that your Mom, Dad, or Senior loved one may not be in the best environment at home can be anything from forgetting their meds, getting lost easily, falling frequently, or isolating from friends and activities.
Senior Living Advisors is a free service provided to Seniors and their families, to assist in transitioning them to a retirement community, assisted living, memory care community, finding home health care, or skilled nursing facility. The MMMMM Event was an exciting and entertaining way to connect medical and geriatric care professionals to Senior Living Advisors services, and their vendor sponsors and partners.
Guests from area hospitals came from Texas Health Presbyterian System, Baylor Healthcare, Medical City Medical Center. They were able to meet providers of various aspects of Senior care, and exchange vital information to enhance the lives of our elders as they enter their retirement years.
Senior Living Advisors President, Jo Tipton, a Licensed Real Estate Broker, experienced firsthand the challenges of finding a comfortable and appropriate living option for her own parents in recent years. She and her husband Mike Lee decided that other families going through the same jungle of options needed a place to go for all-around guidance and advice.
In September 2010, they formed Senior Living Advisors with a group of experienced team members from Assisted Living facilities, Retirement Communities, and Real Estate placement industries, to provide this advice and guidance so critical to making decisions for Mom and Dad. Because of the partnerships they have established with Retirement and Assisted Living communities in the DFW area, SLA is providing this service free of charge to seniors and their families.
